Important Information - Mitigation of losses

It is your legal duty to keep your expenses and losses to a minimum. It is very important that you read the information below as it is provided for your benefit.

For details of our insurance and in order that we may provide you with assistance with any claim you may have in relation to this collision, you should call our representatives Sopp+Sopp as soon as possible on 01733 286938.

Please note that, if you choose not to contact Sopp+Sopp or take advantage of our offer, this may affect your entitlement to recover any repair, hire or storage charges that you incur by using the services of a third party. In any case, it is imperative that you show this to your insurer and any third party repair and/or hire company that you or your legal representative may instruct. It is very important that they are made aware of our offer, so they can advise you accordingly.

Our Offer

Vehicle Damage

Sopp+Sopp will be able to assist you by arranging for the repairs to your vehicle to be carried out at a garage at no cost to you.

If you require a hire vehicle whilst your vehicle is undergoing repairs, we will provide you with a suitable hire vehicle, whilst your vehicle is undergoing repairs, free of charge. We are able to obtain a suitable hire vehicle comparable to yours at a lower rate than either credit hire or normal “spot” hire. We can provide details of these costs when you contact us to make use of the facilities offered.

Please note that, if you nominate a garage to repair your vehicle, it is your obligation to ensure that they do not delay carrying out the repairs.

If your vehicle is undriveable, we can arrange roadside recovery and/or for temporary repairs to be carried out to your vehicle.

If your vehicle is beyond economical repair, we will arrange for an engineer or assessor to inspect your vehicle.

If your vehicle needs to be safely stored, we can arrange this for you at no cost to yourself. Again, should you require a hire vehicle, we will provide you with a hire vehicle free of charge.
